Golden Rule: Select 5-10 points per side within 4-10% of droplet diameter from the contact point.

✓ Good Selection:

Points within 4-10% of diameter from contact
5-10 points evenly distributed
Points follow smooth droplet profile

✗ Avoid:

Too far (> 10%): the polynomial fitting can no longer accurately represent the actual droplet shape
